Music and N.E.W.S Summer 2024
Bridgefield Civic League, Inc. is dedicated to enhancing our community by offering programs that foster youth development and cultural enrichment. Our mission is to provide a supportive environment where children can thrive creatively and academically. We focus on engaging youth through activities that promote healthy living, cultural appreciation, and violence prevention.
For our "Bridging Cultures through Music and Nutrition Workshops" project, we have selected partners who align with our mission and bring unique resources to the table:
- MUSE is renowned for its music education programs and will provide expert-led music workshops, instruments, and materials. Their experience in engaging youth through music complements our goal of nurturing creativity and offering positive outlets for energy.
- Benton Wellness specializes in health education and will lead nutrition workshops, offering practical cooking demonstrations and expert guidance on healthy eating. Their involvement addresses our aim to improve health literacy among children.
- SAFE Organization brings valuable expertise in violence prevention. Their support for our "Put the Guns Down and Pick up an Instrument" initiative will help divert youth from violence through constructive activities.
These partners were chosen for their expertise and resources, ensuring a cohesive and impactful collaboration. Their combined strengths will enhance the project's effectiveness, aligning with our shared mission to support and uplift our community.
