The Bridgefield Civic League Inc. organized in 1968, is a non-profit organization dedicated to volunteerism and the raising of funds in support of the charitable. Our mission is to stimulate interest in civic and social affairs addressing 21st-Century Issues; to uphold the highest ideals and conception of Americanism; to promote and support educational, civic and patriotic programs and events; to operate in the spirit of friendship and benevolence toward our Community, in the Bronx.
All members are committed to contribute their time, talent and energy to community service and fund-raising activities of the league.
Dedicated to service and volunteerism from 1982-2016 At the Bridgefield Civic League Inc. Myra worked in every capacity with in the BCL. Eastern Star, Served of the board at Crawford Day Care for over 15years, a member of the Bronx Democratic Party and worked endlessly volunteering for Carl Heastie, stuffing envolopes, phones calls and getting petitions signs to put the right person in office to work for her community. Working the polls and encouraging the community to vote.
